Who are we? We are an established removals & storage company principally serving Leicestershire & Rutland areas, but also regularly handling moves further a field. As members of the British Association of Removers we give customers confidence that their removal will be handled professionally, helping them relax as much as possible during the move. Wherever possible, from the first contact to the last, our staff aim to give useful advice & practical help in order to accomplish a successful, stress free move. Removals Our vehicle fleet provides the capacity to handle any size of removal – from a single item to the contents of the largest house. As well as “on the day” services, our experienced, friendly staff can pack some or all household possessions prior to the removal, including dismantling furniture and taking down curtains etc. We can swiftly arrange viewings and competitive quotes. At the viewing we provide a useful removals checklist & handy hints for packing as well as insurance details, etc. If it is not appropriate to view in person, we have user-friendly forms for you to fill in & return to us. The warehouse is insulated, pest controlled, weatherproof, insured & approved by the British Association of Removers. Whatever the time period, storage can be a cost-effective, stress-free option to ease the transition between properties. Storage can be the solution if the furniture, etc you have won’t fit in the property you have. We can provide information & literature on how this works at a practical level. It is worth remembering that our minimum period of store is just 1 week – making it probably the most flexible part of your move! Self-storage Self-storage is expanding since we introduced it to Melton & Rutland in 2000. Customers enjoy the freedom of bringing their own goods into store and take advantage of our range of packing materials available for sale. Many people are also taking advantage of more flexible working arrangements - taking a 6 or 12-month break, renting their house out & putting their household goods into storage. Many homes these days just don’t have enough storage space either; More & more people are taking a storage unit – for less than £10.00 per week - to store things they just can’t get in at home! Business & archive storage is growing – allowing businesses to free up valuable retail / office space. To complement this facility we offer document retrieval and a courier service. Some customers come & collect their own documents / products / etc – taking advantage of our convenient location in between Melton & Oakham; others use P.P. to receive into store & then distribute their brochures, etc, for them. As the trend increases for people to work from home, archive units are ideal to store paperwork tidily for “at a glance” retrieval - meaning that the garage or spare room can be reclaimed! Of course these units are just as useful for businesses with little or no archive space of their own.
